* Trump was only 2 points above Biden (44% to 46%) and I reckon Trump only got across the line last time because, in addition to his hard-core “he’s the Messiah!” support, a number of voters took a punt on him. Those people won’t go for him again so he’s peaked. Bizarrely, Harris seems less popular than poor ol’ Joe so they could still throw it away.
