The ideal woman is much the same as the ideal man: head screwed on, have their priorities in the right place. Personally I believe the main priority is to make sure proceeding and succeeding generations are cared for. For my wife and I this has switched to the grandchildren and parents. That's not to say your life is not your own but if it's a choice between picking up my granddaughter from netball or riding about on the bike then the former wins out.

"I don't care about kids, I just want a woman with red hair / big knockers / inexpensive tastes / etc." sounds more like you want a prostitute on a long-term payment plan.
