I had a Moto G75 & it was too big (6.7in) for a chest pocket, & stuck in me when I used a lower pocket. I've resorted to using a Nokia 2660 until I find a solution. Phones are just too damn big!

I used to use Quad Lock when out on the MTB / Road bike & I know that's an option but I don't want the distraction!

I'm struggling to find a place to keep it where it isn't digging into my sticky in/out bits.

So where do you keep yours?

Carpenter jeans have a pocket just below your right hip that is the perfect size for carrying a cell phone. I got rid of my Samsung years ago because I was tired of packing around a flat screen TV-sized cell phone with me everywhere I go. Now I'm on the iPhone bandwagon, mainly because they are a manageable size, battery life is pretty good, and OS updates and backups are easy. But any standard size cell phone will fit nicely in the carpenter jeans side pocket. Carpenter jeans are a little on the baggy side; I can recommend Wrangler and Dickies. They come in several colors if you don't like blue.

Too right. I just got a new one and it's another inch bigger than my last and is no longer comfortable in my front left pocket where I always keep them. Why does no-one apart from Apple make an up to date 5.5" phone?

I guess if I paid more than 100 quid it might open up choices but functionally the budget phones suit me fine

I usually tuck mine in the inside breast pocket of whichever jacket I'm using but I will be investing in a Quadlock yoke mount.

Wouldn't be much use at home if you needed to call for breakdown assistance or an attempted vehicle theft in progress though...

Inside left breast pocket (it's a 6"er and perfectly comfortable there).

I've got a bit of a paranoia about keeping my phone physically on my person while riding - visions of me ending up immobilised and unseen at the bottom in a ditch, unable to reach my phone. (Slightly embarrassed to say it, but there's also an SOS whistle permanently in the pocket of both my riding trousers! I think...)

Quadlock bar mount on the last 3 bikes I've had. I use the satnav on my phone a lot when I'm out, so it's ideal to have it on the bars.

Search for "covert sling bag" on Temu or AliExpress, small enough to wear under a jacket.

In that case you go to a payphone.

Same here, my first thought is if I end up flying down the road and damaging myself I at least want my phone accessible next to me. Which is exactly what happened several years ago, I keep my phone in my front bike jacket pocket which is pretty big anyway.
It's also voice activated so if I break both arms and end up in a ditch, at least someone will hear me swearing loudly at my phone whilst it ignores me shouting "Hey Google, phone 999"!

Generally speaking in the inside chest pocket of my jacket, but sometimes in my man bag if I'm taking other 'stuff' with me. It's in a Quadlock case and I do have a ball mount in the centre of the bars should the necessity arise, but to me a phone in view is a distraction I neither need or want.

I piqued my own curiousity and looked on GSM arena, no 4G Android phones under 6" released in the past 3 years (except 'fat 'n' heavy' IP rated rugged phones which defeats the comfort aspect). Theres' one each form Sony and Samsung I think but they're already from 2022.

I swear there's a gap in the market - 20 years ago we all had or wanted tiny phones!

A huge gap. I pay 4 quid a month to ASDA mobile for text & talk only.

I like everything about the Light Phone 3, except the cost.

There's the Z Flip and Razr phones if you want something really small but folding screens do wear out the more you use them. My Z Fold is a touch over 6" on the diagonal (folded) but narrow relative to a S23, S24 etc. I only unfold it to read PDFs of motorcycle manuals so hopefully the folding screen should last a bit longer than the Flips.

Overkill for me. 500 notes to send texts & make calls. They do look good though (well the Razr does)

In your quest to locate a payphone you go to a phonebox. There you'll find things like book exchanges, plant exchanges, seed exchanges or if you're really lucky then you'll find a defibrillator.

How do any of those items help? Laughing

Cor you must live in a nice part of the country, around here they are all full of smackheads, piss, needles or a combination of all 3.
