Twins scoots are pretty nippy, but I think the most powerful 50 I have seen is Koopmans NX NRG that does about 27rwhp.

The thing is, the engine life on a scooter like that is incredibly short.
So while it may be an insane ride (you guys with bigger bikes really would scare yourselves, but only because the thing is so light), you won't be able to ride that on any sort of regular basis or for very long at a time.

Perhaps someone could point out an automatic bike which actually looks like a proper bike? Those Gilera ones look like automatics no matter which angle you see them from. It might be just that I dislike them so much that I recognise them though...

Not bad i ain't seen anyone brave enough to want to dyno there scooter!

I've done over 60 on a scooter and with them tiny wheels it was a bit scary so i'd say you'd need a bit of nerves to ride that thing on a regular basis.

I am on the forum, so surly the whole forum cannot hate them.

A 20bhp ped would be fun. A stock ped is fun.

I'd rather have a 20bhp ped than a 20bhp minimoto.

I like pretty much all bikes. In high school about 85% of the people in our year had scooters, the rest geared bikes (everybody gets a scooter at 16 here, boys and girls). So I've ridden a fair amount of scooters and they're definitely fun when they're in their element, which is pretty much where I live; narrow roads, massive amounts of traffic and a low (30 mph) speedlimit everywhere. Filtering with a scooter is rediculously easy and much easier than with a larger bike.
