After being signed off today for the rest of the week i took my usual route home, traffic wasn't as busy so managed to rag the car more than usual.

After about a 3 mile trip flat out on the dual carriageway i looked down to see the magical 130. Only had 125 before coming back from newcastle on the a1 and that took like 7 miles.

Anyway had to whip the phone out and take a snap. Pretty impressed from a 1.4 but dread what the real speed is, probably just a touch over 100. Embarassed

Dude, taking a picture whilst driving 100mph+ is pretty dangerous.

You need some petrol aswell.

That is quite impressive from a 1.4! I would expect a 1.6 to hit that, not a 1.4! Very Happy Thumbs Up

130 with one hand on the wheel on a public road whilst looking in your mobile screen?

'Spose it would only take a second though.

In a Saxo I would think they are understandable if they come out to play. Been in a saxo crash and know 2 others who have crashed in them and fcuk me what a mess. Basically made out of paper.

I can take photo's without opening the phone so never looked at the screen. It was a straight line so not too bad.

Would have taken a glory picture of my zx6r flat out but couldn't would need a video camera for that. That used to hit just under 180. Cool

Did it from meadows roundabout, get to the m3 junction where you can go to london and from there straight through farnborough, ash vale, mitcham, and got the turn off at infinity. Cool

I have always bottled it when going 120-130mph in either my old scooby or the type r. Speeding at 80 or 90mph can be excused, maybe? Over a ton is asking for trouble if get caught by the old bill.

Was like I'd been involved in a hit and run when I hit a bird at 110mph on way to work once, there was blood everywhere, rushed home to wash it off as was embarressed Embarassed
