Yeah, like Scooby. In chat the other day he was saying that 30 (well 27 actually) miles is too far to go unless hes got a bike that will do at least 130. Rolling Eyes

There is a difference between going on a long ride, and riding a long distance to somewhere. If you are actually intending to go somewhere (for the first time at least), then you'd usually take the quickest route...then you might try the shortest, then the most scenic etc.

I always try to take the longest route (used to take me 30 mins to get to work and it's only 5 miles away) because i enjoy riding, if i took the shortest route everywhere or whinged that it was 3 miles too far i might aswell get a car Confused

Well for me to get to the braddy arms is 50 miles Sad and thats the shortest route using motorways Sad

I still go though Very Happy

I reckon I will get there at about 6 (possibly later depending on how lost I get)

My bike gets the valves done on Thursday so I can cane her again. Oh, and it gets derestricted Smile

Have any directions been posted anywhere on the forum to Gav's house??? Or do I go to Worcester and look for 30 bikes parked outside a house? Cool

theres a few finishing about 6/7 so you could still come, as I've said the BBQ can be started late or re-heated no worries since its gas anyway.

Do i need to bring my bike chain? It looks like the 15 bike prediction will be about right Shocked

I will need to be leaving about 10-11ish on sunday morning, although that should be plenty of time to help you clean up providing you lot arent too lazy and sleep in!

nah the area aint too bad (compaired to where I used to live up north Laughing
