I'd happily do the £70... How much more track time is it though?

Oh and I got paid so I can pay you back Smile

No problem. Pick you up at your place at 09:30? Traffic on the A404/M4 shouldn't be a problem on a Sunday hopefully. I take it you’re still in the same place, right?

Also a general question on clothing? Any recommendations? And do you take your own lid and gloves?

I can wait for Robby if required. I'm not taking part so it doesn't matter what time I arrive.

Final instructions...

Turn up to Hullavington for 11:20 sign on time.

Your own helmet is recommended, but they do have ones for you to use too (be aware you may hit your head if it's an expensive shiny one.)
Bike jacket makes sense. They provide slap on knee sliders.
You need some kind of flexible footwear - I use well-worn army boots usually.

Food and drink should be available, however may be worth bringing a big bottle of drink.

I haven't made a big fuss, but it'd be nice if you've got a tshirt or similar with with your name on to stick over leathers etc - otherwise it's quite hard to tell who's who when all you know is you're following someone with a dark leather jacket Smile.

Since no one else has posted I thought I would. Great day good fun lots of crashes many caught on video and Alexio nearly lost a bollock.

I was put into the barriers several times, because fellow BCFers where jealous of my talent I'm sure they where all agree I was fasterst by far Shifty Laughing

Good fun was had by all, my body is wrecked though. Laughing

Should be some video footage and you get a pretty good shot of me and seb colliding pretty spectacularly.

My knees hurt, lots. Unfortunately my helmet cam didn't record me crash into G, for the other 2 rounds it was aimed at the floor, thought I compensated but clearly not enough, nevermind.

I think that crash was worthy of the title 'clearly not superman' imo, getting slam dunked into the top of tyre wall was funny as fuck though, probably karma for laughing at Bish wobbling off earlier Laughing

Proper good fun, am I glad I've got tomorrow off though, I'd better brush up on the yoga for next year Wink

Great fun, especially the mini motos. They’re an absolute giggle, albeit a horribly crippling giggle. I lost some skin, but not enough to bleed, so that’s alright then. Laughing

The video worked ok, but the dim lighting in that hanger didn’t help. The onboard worked much better on the mini moto than with the karts so I’ll get something uploaded shortly.

Thanks to Marjay for filming the mini motos from the pit. He’s taken some great footage, especially when filming from the roof, including some of the accidents.

I was going to edit the onboard and pit footage together, but the mismatch of frame rate and resolution (640x480x19fps vs 1280x720x30fps) would mean compromising the HD footage. I’ll probably just upload the lot separately then edit together a best bits.

That image of you looking back and laughing has stuck in my mind. Still, seeing Chris pile drive into you on the straight was the funniest thing of the day.

Thanks to al, was a cracking day, not looked at my footage of the carting yet, will edit it all up tomorrow at work. Should have some clasic Robbie Vs Bish moments. Wink

My body is absolutely utterly destroyed. Three highsides, one lowside and barriers unfriendly towards testicles is all I'm saying. I think I need a new helmet and some ibuprofen now as well.

Still, best day of my year Smile

Sorry for lack of videos so far, but last night I was faced with a choice:

1. Edit and post videos
2. Good food, company, red wine and unconsciousness.

Guess what won.

Oh, and thanks to Tig for the headache pills. The drive home would have been a nightmare without them.

TBH Chris, I am not surprised you hurt that much, you had an awesome wipeout. Thumbs Up

OK, uploaded some of the vids;

First is off the 2nd session, starts off with Robbie and myself battling it out, then towards the end G comes piling through, soundly apologised, then sods off.....logged!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeO1fjfLAus

Second involves me trying to push G off track for the earlier pile drive, failed, then Marjay slamming me out the way and letting Molly through in the process, I then almost make Molly go flying by rubbing his rear Laughing Laughing Laughing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMSZXV26cgw

And next is Chris-red and someone who I can't make out having some fun;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMf-MSBMEMc

Will break the other session up soon.

Thumbs Up

I found a bruise today.

My joints are also generally in pain. Still, no regrets Smile

I got away pretty lightly I'd say, my ankle is a bit sore and my neck is super stiff, otherwise all good, even my visor polished out nicely Smile
