Yes the tune is cheesy, but as a technical piece played not for the sake of technicality, but to remain faithful to the tune, well the guy is unbelievable the way he uses every bit of a guitar appropriately rather than just the sake of it.

Pretty much anything by Mark Tremonti. The guy is a beast!
He plays great with Myles Kennedy who in my mind is a criminally underrated guitarist who only gets props
for his (admittedly awesome) voice.
Here they are doing a shared lead guitar section in one of Alter Bridge's signature songs "Blackbird."... Myles up first....
