How on earth are we supposed to know the answer to that! What I mean is if we dont know anyone in person and what they are like then its impossible to say.
Some of you may hide behind matcho names etc but I expect half of you are just young lads who would run a mile as soon as trouble reared its ugly head, lmao Laughing No offence Thumbs Up

I'd say someone who can take it and only react if they need to is hard. I've seen a mate stand there when someone punched him clean on the jaw and he just smiled back at him instead of hitting him. I'd be more bothered about starting trouble with them than someone who goes around looking for trouble. The same mate though did retaliate when his brother was getting the shit beaten out of him by 3 lads with bats. 2 of them ended in hospital and one legged it because he wasn't "hard".

Hard people don't tend to try and advertise the fact that they are because they don't need to and also there will always be someone else around the corner that could put you in your place.

Anyone who has done Army training etc gets my respect of being hard/tough. Takes alot to put your self through pain, that's just the run/TAB to the battle.

My friend at the age of 18 volunteered! Not called up, to go to Iraq and is leaving this weekend, that's hard in it's own way, he's not stupid either, just something he want's to do. Thumbs Up

I'd join no mans army unless I was guaranteed I'd be allowed to shoot at some cnut with my gun.

Royal Marines are hard.

Heard it all before. "I'd join the army just to shoot people"... right.

Would you be tough enough for them to let you shoot at someone? Sleep (what sleep) in pissing wet, run when your legs feel like collapsing etc. It's not all that bad though, you learn to enjoy it as a very tough challenge, I only had to do it at the weekends and the odd weeks away, fuck knows how the marines do it.

It's easy to say yes, but trying getting up and doing it.

4 yrs regular army and 2 yrs in the paras mooker.
Came home from Kuwait wounded by a sneaky mortar.
But I shot, killed and probably maimed for life loads of the enemy.
It was worth it.
I make a packet running security with several offshore expat companies now. Good work if you can get it.

Maybe karate is the lowest of the 'do' forms.

Ninjitsu is certainly the lowest of the bujitsu forms.

Im a Jujitsu fan myself Thumbs Up
Don't see so much Jujitsu nowadays in UFC but in the early ones it was prevalant.
Regardless, I love watching these guys at it.

If you spent two years with the paras, then how come in your earlier post, you called marines hard. Bet your para mates would love that.
