Actually, they're pretty good, they make an effort at cultural dishes and some of them are delicious.
Not sure the patients get *exactly* the same grub. The canteen is open to anyone but mostly staff go there, nothing stopping anybody else going there ... you do see the occasional patient, usually with a family member.
