The muscles either side of my spine are a bit sore, but that was from the first kart session where I moved the seat too far back. Otherwise not too bad.

I'm just uploading the first mini moto session onboard footage, but its going to take a while. My broadband speed is rubbish at Facebook and iPlayer time of night.

I may as well post the lot with minimal editing. 3 x kart, 3 x motos onboard and 3 x motos from the pit lane. I might cut out some of the onboard bits where I'm just cruising round with a clear track, but I've left the 1st session intact.

Right. First two. You can watch these in 480p and expand the screen to get the best. Still comes out a bit choppy compared to the original, but not too bad.

1st session. It’s the whole 10 mins or so. Excuse the boring bits of solo cruising.

Ah, this is more like it. Crashes, smashes, overtakes and undertakes. Oh and a spell of me being Bishbash’s personal videographer while everyone goes past...

I wish I had a helmet cam cause I had some wicked overtakes/undertakes. Like when I was chasing G and Bishbash was in the way and I undertook him on the apex of a hairpin as soon as he turned in Laughing

I'm content with overtaking (and then coming off) G once and being 0.5 secs or so of his fastest lap Wink

OK, mini motos session 3.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg_bKASKuVQ

I’m just working on the video from the Flip HD. I had to move off my laptop and onto the decent PC in the loft as the HD was too much for the lappy to render. Bloody cold up here!

The upload will probably take half the night so I hope to get something up by tomorrow.

Edit: Just finished rendering part one of the HD and it came out as 320x240!!! Must have picked the wrong preset. OK, sod the editing, I'll just upload the whole raw file and see what youtube does with it.

This is session one of the mini motos and there’s zero editing.

Chris, you and Seb getting touchy-feely is in part two I think. In part one I'm the guy cartwheeling up the far end of the track.

I'm looking forward to session 3 where you can clearly see Alexio clip G and go down really heavily. It even looks like you see a flash of sparks. Just uploading now.

Those vids are awesome, better quality than mine. realising how slow I was on those mini motos is quite amusing. Good fun though!

EDIT: Just saw Chris-Reds 'crash' .....top quality, Seb properly cartwheeled.

Thumbs Up

Glad everyone (mostly Smile ) had a good time and is mostly recovered. I'm still limping a bit from the two decent knocks I took to my right knee on that plastic armco stuff.

Erm, is that Alexio or 'Alex' (aka Phoenix)?

And err, yea, sorry about that again (I looked over as he was next to me, which made me do the whole "move towards where you're looking thing" which wasn't ideal as he was about 3cm away!)

I would like to see the replay of Molly's claim I messed up his line though... no apologies for that from me so far Razz.

Oh and just watching the two-bike pile up. Definitely looks like there was some contact first, as opposed to the Marshal's impression it was the whole foot coming off thing. Who's responsible for the contact is another matter Razz.

Looking at that now that is definitely my fault, I wasn't convinced on the track. But I think we touched and I over reacted and lost my footing. Still funny though.

I'm less aching today except I can't straighten my right arm properly not sure why.

Oops, sorry I assumed that was the spill where Alexio nearly became Alexia. Wink I didn't realise it was Phoenix.

Part 3 nearly there. I can't see how long to go because I'm uploading from home while i'm here at work. The upload is caning my home bandwidth so much I can't RDP to the PC. Laughing

Edit: I managed to connect to home and it's still going to take a couple of hours.

I came up behind you at the same spot in the 3rd session as well, funnily enough I didn't try the same manoeuvre twice Smile

It's ok, you're off the hook Razz My knees made a miraculous recovery overnight, still hurt like hell if i touch them but my ability to walk hasn't been impeded.

I didn't see the crash where Alexio 'knackered' himself, my interface with G was halfway along the straight after the hairpin, easily identified by me using the tyre wall as a bed for the rest of the session.

Session 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZXKxR9XSN0

I like the angle on this one because Marjay shot from the observation tower. Gives a good view of the whole track.

The big crash is at about 0:55 if you're the impatient type.

I still have three onboard vids of the karts if anyone wants to see them. They may need a bit of editing to get rid of boring solo track time, but there's some good footage of bumps, crashes and close calls.

Edit: OK, the crash at 1:58 on the far corner. Who was that?

Pretty sure the one at the back is Alexio.

Annoying we didn't get exactly what happened after Molly overtook me - got it me going for a tighter line, then when it pans back I'm in front and he seems to be sitting back down.
I presume that was him crashing at the hairpin was the lap later or whatever (around 6:30)?

Ah, oh and watching the little incident between me and Phoenix I feel less bad - as it looks like it wasn't a last minute wiggle, but more than I'd already moved over a bit and he rode in to me Razz.

Yes, it would appear I assumed you'd keep a straight line and didn't move whereas infact you were moving out towards the centre of the track, I didn't realise that at the time was too close to brake anyway and wipeout, at least there were sparks.

Did look quite cool, but think you got beaten on the 'impressiveness' states by Alexio's cartwheel Razz.

It's pretty usual for people to come back in a bit after hitting the outside.

On that, while my lines weren't amazing precise - for some others, remember, Outside -> Apex -> Outside. Not middle of track to a foot away from the apex to middle of track Razz.
Though, my knee does show, I suppose, that it's not always worth trying to get REALLY close Confused.
