Are you riding to/from G's then?

I'm going to G's whatever, and now google has shown me the simple way to get there if I miss the bunch I'm not too worried.

Would be nice to have someone to dance with on the way there/back. The route looks fairly dull.

From September 2014 to January/February 2015 I will not be using any English, nor reading any. As such, I won't be on here. PM at will, but I won't be checking/posting unless in emergencies. Certainly not for the first couple of months. Please berate me savagely if I break that rule...

Oh yes, I suppose I need G's address too
(eek)

I googled from Andy's place to the paintball place, but I forgot we are going to G's afterwards (forgot everything, sausages, buns, camera, doh, no doubt I will remember something else I have forgotten soon enough).

Can I have G's address (by PM) plz, so I can google that, as I will have the car, and you lot will all be way ahead of me wheelying whilst I sit in the traffic Sad

Having (finally) looked at the map of where this place is, it seems easier (coming from the North) to get straight to this place rather then find where this meet place is.

So will just have to see you there guys.

Any locals think 'M40-> A404-> A4130-> Back lanes after Henley on Thames-> B481-> More back roads and there' is a silly route?

If you lot are hooning those back roads and see a dizzy fat brunette and a maniacal ginger lunatic shouting at each other from the depths of a red Corsa, then stop and tell us to STFU and we'll follow you like meek little lambs Smile

Ow my back hurts, and I have large bruises on my knee and on my backside!

Mind you, the back is probably from spending yesterday in the garage...

My feet hurt Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

But it was worth it.
We had a great time!

It was fab for me to see Andy enjoy himself so much; I left him lying on his sofa yesterday morning, groaning gently but happily in recuperation.

Lots of fun, you bunch of nutters.
Cool Thumbs Up

Ah Mr Scaramanga! I had not expected to see you here! Laughing

It was a really good day. There is something to be said for standing up to your ankles in pink and orange paint, crouched behind a piece of plywood whilst firing plastic pellets using compressed air at someone you can't really see...

It gives a surprising amount of adrenaline! Smile

Judging by the lack on entries i'm not the only one who feels like they were run over more than once by a truck.
It hurts in places i didnt know existed.
Recovery time will be in weeks.....
You younguns just wait until age catches up with you.

I'm just about recovered, and the bruising doesn't really hurt. Its mainly my lower back hurting from crouching down all day though.

I can remember at the time I felt both fear and excitement, but its one of those activities where you only remember the excitement and so you really want to do it again. Once you're there you then get shot and think "Why do I subject myself to this?". Great fun! Smile

Aye, I PM'ed G but I'd like to thank everyone again for the sharing of paintballs (which allowed the above picture Laughing), really great atmosphere towards the end Thumbs Up

And yeh, would willingly do it again tomorrow.

As for my wounds, I'm covered in bruises but its mainly my knee and arm that hurts. My knee from kneeling on some root/stone/small child, and my arm from getting shot on the one spot with no fat protecting me and where I constantly lean.

Finger looks quite impressive though, nice circle covering the joint.

And Bohf those gits in blue are responsible for the finger, the arm and the nice (and perfectly 2inch spaced) line of bruises along my arm Laughing

I want there guns *sulk*

Oh and G, hows the 'Pimp my snack' entry coming along?

I've shown the picture on my phone to loads of people, who all instantly thought I ate it all myself.

Charming Laughing

Well I felt the same as I did the last 2 times I went, muscles in thighs are really painful, been walking around and climbing in and out of truck like a cripple last 2 days, should be alright tomorrow, result of running/jumping like nutter with no kind of warm up.

Only had 2 bruises, one on arm and one on shoulder blade (that hurt), both no longer visible.

Was great fun, look forward to next one. If we do, think I might invest in an anti-fog mask.

I remember Goose bringing some anti-fog wax which worked pretty well, basically was a stick of wax you buffed into the in-side of the mask.

Probably available on good bike websites.

So whens the next one, I promise to come this time Praying
