One of those cheap and nasty all-in-one carton meals from the local Chinois: fried rice, chicken balls and curry sauce, for a fiver.
Bleurgh
Laughing

Edit: in mitigation, I had only had one of those M&S "Brain Food" drinks - Kefir yoghurt with tropical fruit, as an early morning on-the-go breakfast before my meeting. It was quite filling but probably packed with carbs.

Oh well ... *Peter Green guitar riff*

... tomorrow is another day. I also bought a big box of salad in Morrisons on the way home.

8oz Rump Steak
4 Eggs
4 Rashers of Bacon
250g Lambs Liver

Carnivore diet is going down an absolute treat to be honest. I'm eating one meal a day and the weight is steadily coming off so I'm very happy.

2 meats in 1 meal is unusual but no sauce is even weirder???

I was emptying the freezer so just cooked what was in there. There was plenty of (very flavoursome*) juice in the pan, I just didn't bother to mention it Laughing

*the pork was cooked with tarragon out of the garden, the chicken with a modified BBQ marinade.

I can't get over how you seem to think what I eat is weird - that I have some obscure reason for my choices. Laughing
I live alone, there is no reason for me to cook to a meat-and-two-veg standard for someone else.
Nutrition is not a problem, I eat a wide range of stuff.

I mean, I don't really care, I just wonder if you are a teensy bit obsessed about food in a quirky way yourself.
Is this something to do with your apparently superior cheffing skills.
Is cheffing even a word? Laughing

Being single I eat what I want when I want and find the standard family fare weird these days.
