Luke looks so sad! Like a puppy you just hit with a newspaper and he's not quite sure why.

Anyway. I pwned at mini moto & k arting. Block passing rocks!
(If Icey's Chris says anything, he's lieing).

Results are in!:

Karting: (Position - name - fastest lap)
1st: Jon-B - 31.04s
2nd: Chris - 31.23s
3rd: Me - 31.69s
4th: Kickstart - 32.41
5th: Paulodd - 32.58
6th: Mr Babyyam - 32.98

Mini moto:
1st: Chris - 32.42
2nd: Me - 32.93
3rd: Paulodd - 32.57
4th: Kickstart - 33.74
5th: Mr Babyyam - 39.98

John (Mr babyyam) also paused at the side of the track for a lap or so to be sick into a tyre. That's dedication I think!

Keith also lost 4 seconds one lap on the karts because he stopped to tell a marshall about a piece of my go kart that had flung itself onto the track. Paul also accused me of beign dangerous. Pfft.

Nice to meet everyone there, and sorry for the guys and gurls who got stuck in the traffice, one the way home there was still miles and miles of stand still taffic on that side of the road.

Twas a good day! But very very unfortunate that everybody from the East couldn't make it. How do people manage to crash on a motorway? Rolling Eyes

I found that I am the most awful person on mini-motos with the flexibility of stainless steel. However at Karting I pwned. Smile

Will have to do it again, just so everybody can be there.

driving too close, someone brakes a bit sharply, and a ripple goes back up the line and someone doesnt react quick enough

(maybe)

Well, that was rather crap :’(.

Apologies to those leaving from my place – was a bad call to go the motorway; however the information I had was that it was just one lane closed rather than the whole motorway, so I decided this would still be the best option in relation to the delays along the A4.

Apologies to those that weren’t contacted regarding our alternate karting. Unfortunately I don’t have my normal phone at the moment; so most of my time was spent running up and down the motorway checking with those in our ‘convoy’ about what they wanted to do as far as the 'main event' goes; my thoughts weren’t on calling other people.
It was only as we were just leaving the motorway that it was decided to do the karting; those of us that were going off roading were going that way anyway.

Do people want me to try and arrange another date for minimoto/karting at hulavington?

Not sure when your gig is Jay, but was considering seeing if people wanted to do a minimoto session this Friday evening, presuming they’re running it then.
However, not sure my shoulder will be usable by then as it’s still pretty sore at the moment.
