AFAIK the older NSr's (like ours) aint restricted. What have you had out of it. If its about 85-90 then its full power.

Take the exaust off!! lol.
Its a different can to the standard pre 93.

So the restrictors could be in there.
Better get the old drill out!!

My guess is it's a Uk bike. Take the exhaust off, you will be able to tell if it's restricted or not, and it's not exactly a difficult job to take it off to have a look. Then have a look on the carb to see if there's any restrictors, you should be able to spot them a country mile off.

Ant - thats not a '99 bike. Did you mean '89?

Dont forget, it could of had the speedo face changed to a MPH one, or jus tthe whole clock changed over to a MPH one.

And my bikes registered as a 94.
But its older than that.

Your bike is Pre 93. Possibly pre 91, due to the wheels being the same as mine and colins. (mines older than colins as keith found out there was about 600 bikes made after mine untill colins...)

If it was the 99 model it would have the silver frame and the plastics would be completly different.

But having said and done, its still a really smart NSR. kinda what mine was like untill,,,, wahhhey thees the tarmac...ouch ouch, it burns i tell you it burns!!

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes now where did i put them stabilizers...

i used to do 10-12 hour shifts on sundays so i doubt very much that its illegal

I'm doing nothing this sunday so im up for a ride out somewhere Smile probably the last free sunday i will have for a while though as i start my new job on tuesday Sad at least i will have some money then! but no time to spend it.

There are a few bike shops i fancy visiting around new castle under lyne and stoke on trent, i wonder if they are open sundays.

staff can work as many hours on sunday as any other day the only limits enforced are a max of 6 hours trading, but this can be flexible if you are sneaky

for example on sunday, we open at 10.30 till 4.30 officially, but the doors open at 10am we just cant assist customers, and shoppers have till 5 to finish there shopping if they are on the premises after 4.30, so they blag an extra hour, by just wording stuff creatively

but staff are there from as early as 7am , to as late as 7pm Evil or Very Mad

Yeah do that. Take the engine number as well, just in case.
There is a sticker on the frame somewhere (possible under the tank?) that I remember seeing on Jack's NSR, and that has the model number on.

It should say NSR125RK, RL, RM or RN. With the model number you should be able to work out when it was made

nope.

I take it you mean DK in newcastle, and the only ones in stoke of any note are norman & birch and K2. None of them open sundays.
