You can borrow some leathers off zim (shuddup zim, you don't get a say Wink) so now you need £99.

Hmmm not this time I don't think Sad

Oh yeah, MCN Ninja's have setup a 10% discount for trackdays with 100%, so it might be worth emailing them for this place?

It gets a bit annoying at snett, well it did on the KR1S and even the zx6.... because bigger bikes get you on the straights, then you have to get past them in the corners only for them to take you on the straights again.

I just cant do this one because If im gonna get 2pc leathers I want some decent ones and can't pay too much so am not gonna rush getting them I plan to wait til the NEC this year. Plus with driving lessons and other payments at the mo I can't justify the cost.

The Kris is better though?. RVF really that good on the track. Knew they were good but not that good.

I did do quite a lot of bikes at the esses and russells but I was taking it easy having never had this bike on the track before. Still finding my way with it.

Kevo.

The RVF would definatley be better for someone a bit unsure of the track etc, but I was going past quite a few and keeping ahead of them and that was with dodgy tyres.
If you miss a gear change it gets nasty on the KR though.

right one week to go so heres the story. we are leaving mine at about 7pm on friday night with a van with me, g and bendys bikes in it. we will be staying at a b&b or camping (you lot will have to sort that out) and i am sleeping in the van. if your just coming to watch and need a lift your more than welcome to squeeze in the van and sit on a bike all the way there. if you dont want to come down the night before you can make your own arrangements and get there yourself.

hi
Its quite hard especially comming out of corners to keep up with the bigger bikes, but mainly you can deffinatly corner quicker and be much later on the breaks, i remeber going past 3-4 bikes breaking for the the esses, catching them up bikes in the corners but them pulling away comming out (also the concetina effect doing that aswell). I missed a gear a few times comming out of the esses going into the bombhole and got owned quite a few time, i agree with G that a V-twin would be a more forgiving bike due to the extra torque, but then again this increases the risk of a high-side Confused

Luke, it should be easier to get the power down coming out of corners on a 400, because you are less worried about it letting go, I was definatley less hesitant on the r6 and kr1s than the zx9.
I was coing past loads of people on the brakes in inter's, that mostly just due to bravery, not the bike Smile
A V-Twin should be less likley to high side because it has a much flatter and more linear power/tourque curve. This means that you can roll the throttle on with out an nasty powerbands jumping out to bite you (in a similar way that you don't have to be so brave on a smaller bike to get the power on)

Lydden is a tight 'technical' track, so should favour smaller bikes.
