Yes, I appreciate that.

I was simply making the point that the excuse that they were wearing black would not be justifiable in itself. Its not (yet) against the law to NOT wear reflective clothing.

Although, I dunno, some of that funky neon stuff that lights up might be amusing:
"I didn't see the biker as I mowed him down, officer, but HEY ... I had a close encounter of the third kind, there's aliens out there in them thar hills!"
