Why are kids in Africa drinking dirty water? Can't they filter it through a sock and then boil it?

Why have I been telling myself all these years that I don't like mince pies? Thinking

In a fit of Christmas spirit, I encouraged the Senior Consort to engage in a bout of sherry and mince pies, of which he had bought himself 4 boxes although I had declared that I hated them, and that I must only have Florentines or Lebkuchen instead.

I somehow talked myself into trying one, because I made an effort to sprinkle some caster sugar on them (but he wouldn't let me warm them up Rolling Eyes )

And it was perfectly edible Shocked
