Where I live it's a good variety of age groups. The local carnival this past Saturday featured floats for scouts/cubs, guides/brownies, two nursery groups and a dance troop (mostly under 11s) so awash with kids. Thinking on it, the kids outnumbered the adults with regards to floats. My local club did "pop icons" and the wife did a convincing Stevie Nicks Smile

Must admit, that sounds really great. Thumbs Up and lucky man to have a wife that can do a convincing Stevie Nicks. Clapping

I can't remember the last carnival float, in my neck of the woods, most have been abandoned, because of unworkable insurance cover, the risk of being monopolised by LGBTQ+ and council politics.

Pakistan nominates Trump for Nobel Peace Prize, praising ‘stellar statemanship’

Who's he up against, Benjamin Netanyahu? Laughing

Whats he given Pakistan to get them to love him?

Obviously the Iranians aren't very happy with the orange man and his support of Israel but you would think that if the authorities are sending rent-a-mob on the streets with state supplied placards, they would use a spell checker before they printed them. Doh!

Bugger, I can't link the BBC image for some reason.

However - Official placards stating 'Down Whit USA' is not too impressive. Laughing

I wonder if they have buyers remorse now he's dropped a dozen of the globe's largest conventional bombs on one of their neighbours?
