Don’t people who frequent ‘call’ boxes leave their cards any more?

I’ve used Kavu’s mini-rope bag because wearing a rucksack was too hot in the summer and it was mostly empty. I’m not a total convert but the rope bag was all right on the bike, perhaps shifting to my right side a bit sometimes. Capacity was a bit limited (I carry too much stuff routinely, probably) and the standard size might have been better. They do polyester versions that are “a bit more water resistant.” Just another suggestion.

Well I’ve opted for an iPhone SE 3. It’ll do size wise.

If you run an Evoc bumbag when you're on your MTB, they're a pretty decent size for day to day essentials. It might look weird having a 500ml sports bottle on a bum bag when you're fully power ranger'd up, but trust me, summer heat in leathers and a drink was very much welcome.

I'd rather have electronics in my Kriega rucksack or in said bumbag.

I love that stuff but it’s well out of my price range!

On the MTB I tended to use USWE kit. Yeah that was pricey too!

Foolish, in hindsight Rolling Eyes

I don’t think it’s foolish at all. You’re only young once and if you can afford it… why the hell not!

I use one of these.

Cheap, lightweight and you get 0 buffeting on the bike. I get a fair bit in mine considering it's size and really rate it.

I found this after much searching.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/QIBOZNG-Handlebar-Motorcycle-Waterproof-Navigation/dp/B0D7L8JLW6?th=1

Looks like utter crap that'll last 10 minutes in a decent breeze. if anyone can see a homegrown equivalent then I'm well up for it!

Usually in my inside left jacket pocket (because right handed, just reach in, provided my right wrist isnt broken of course Rolling Eyes )

But if you knock yourself senseless in that ditch its not much good no matter where it is.

When they find you - how do they know who to call?
If they went through my "previous calls in/out list" they'd just get an assortment of twerps that wouldn't know anything much about me Laughing My daughter is listed under my pet name for her rather than "Daughter" and my mother is listed under "Bitch of a mother" rather than "Mum".

I really should put in someone as I.C.E. - most likely my ex, who is already under strict orders to go directly my daughter in person if something happens to me. But he's listed as "Coffindodger", so I think they'd be a bit leery about calling him Laughing Thinking
