Saves "getting a man in" to do one-off jobs I suppose but there's a dark art in efficient SQL queries.
For example, I've been tracking down inefficiencies in our code and found a query that, under certain circumstances, was taking north of 900ms to complete. I took out what looked like the complicated bits and it barely made a dent. Turns out there was a join to a self-referencing table so boom! Cartesian explosion 
"That's all very interesting but I didn't understand a word of that!" What I'm saying is, there's a high chance AI will be producing functionally correct code for the muggles to use that's wildly inefficient and no one will care in the moment. When the 'leccy bill arrives though...
