Someone mention Shinya Nakano's leathers after the 200mph blowout? They were in amazing condition after what they had had done to them... There was only one part on which the leather had worn through/ ripped, on the left hand shoulder, and it got stopped from going any further by the armour.

When I chatted to the very nice (I know, I know) policeman, he informed me that they only used it at weekends, and mostly just to encourage bikers to go and talk to them, and be 'educated'.

Clever isn't it. The women sat on the bikes generally would only look to the side so you had to get the whole bike in shot and not just the nose cone.
