Correct me if I'm wrong, don't watch Superbikes, but isn't 46 Rossi's number? It sounds like a complete sell-out by him, and Yamaha cashing in on 'Rossi fever'.

Laughing Yeah, by letting Yamaha sell a bike with his name on he's really thrown away all his principles Crying or Very sad Burn him at the stake Rolling Eyes It's actually MotoGP he races in btw.

Would that paintscheme put the insurance up much???????

I think it looks nice, although i would'nt buy one, i would prefer either a zx6r or a ducati 748.

Do yamaha make a version of rossi's current GP bike? I went into CMC in cannock last week and they had one for sale on a special stand thing.

Hi

They don't sell a version of the GP bike. For a start the GP rules do not allow the use of production compenents (reason that WCM had problems with the R1 inspired GP bike).

Personally I am not keen on the colour scheme, but that is just me. Don't think it will add much to the long term value of the bike (just like the Pepsi Suzukis).

If Ash is lucky then he can hold off buying the R46 until his training is over and pick one up cheap on clearance in January next year.

All the best

Keith

I might be doing the same, dependant on the deals on R6's and GSXR600's. Time for a 6RR replacement nearly.
