We've just had word that our proposal has been well received by all parties including our local council, the police, community safetyb and residents and we hope to have our track in the near future.

bonus Thumbs Up Got my meeting with the council on tuesday to ask advice etc. I think theres enough scrubland in Kent for me to get away with finding a decent plot of land.

What kind of track are you building greek? Also how big is the area of your land?

done lol. (your fine with sleeping in a shed right?) Laughing

Well, tomorrow will tell if im gonna go forward with this seriously. Job interview in the morning Praying and if i get that i will have plenty of money but no time to look into creating a track. Maybe in a few years, especially if i have some of my own money to throw at it. BUt if i dont get teh job, gonna go full tilt into seeing if this is possible and getting on it.

I don't know about any other things to do with an offroad track, apart from quads, but a tarmac track surely has some interesting side-facilities.

Think karting, pocket-biking, R/C track...
(The latter probably being the most active)
Especially R/C cars would be interesting because no insurance at all is needed for events, 1/5th scale onroad cars and bikes(I'm into the bikes) really need pretty large tracks, that are still overlookable. No need for any ambulancing or similar...
If you already have a track, it would be pure income (apart from a transponder set/track timing computer, but you could use the full scale computer with just smaller transponders...)

Edit: great, for once I don't read all the way down and just reply and now I read that this isn't needed anymore. Rolling Eyes
