well 'es not been able to get anything else in the meantime has he? , I've had to work for right cnuts just to get me foot on the bottom rung of the ladder.
I had to spend most of my time biting my tongue working for an accountant who I don't understand how he could have passed his exams , who could not count properly with his shoes on.
Just my experience though your own may vary. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

From my experience, most travel agency staff have the IT skills of cheese. It might help to emphasise any IT quals/experience on your CV. Failing that, tell them you know one of the Traveleye system admins... ____________________ "That's it. You people have stood in my way long enough. I'm going to clown college."

Try this (it will take some bottle but you have nothng to loose)
Take one of these rejection letters and phone the company asking to make a appointment with the person who sent you the letter.
Take it with you, tell them this, I thank you for seeing me and thank you for your time.
I am approaching you for advice

I agree too. I applied for a job last summer as a trainee fingerprint expert. I jumped through all the required hoops, thought the interview went well, but didn't get the job. I phoned them up to ask if there was any feedback or advice they could give me to help me for applying next time round. They sent me a full A4 page letter all about the interview and what they had thought of me - turned out they'd been really impressed and I was their reserve candidate. For a start that made me feel better because I knew I wasn't just one of the many rejects.
A few months after all that I got a phone call, would I like the job? One of the people they'd hired had left, and the guy in charge (who had interviewed me and who wrote me the letter) didn't want to re-advertise the job, he just wanted to employ me because he'd been impressed.
Now I can't say for sure, but I think my asking why I hadn't got the job originally, and getting him to look back over my interview (I found out I hadn't got the job at least a month after the interview so he would have had to go back and read the notes about me to remember) helped with the image they had of me, and helped get me the job in the end. I'd never bothered to ask before when I got rejection letters. As I'm now happily employed (for the first time - at the age of 30!!) I'd highly recommend that strategy to anyone else! If nothing else you'll get tips on how to improve for next time... ____________________ "The problem with the French is they have no word for 'entrepreneur' " George W Bush
