We're in, karting for me and both for him I think!

Incidentally, I've just booked us a room for the night before at the Travelodge on the M4 (only 1.5 miles away) for £15.

M1ke if you want to come down with us on the Friday night the room sleeps 3.......... (and we promise no orgys Wink )

That means we should be all refreshed and ready to kick some ass on Saturday whatever the start time is! Razz

I'll be driving past that on my way there. If you want to meet me to follow me there (it's dead easy to find) , just let me know.

Please, could you not find a more entertaining excuse? At least look past the first page of your excuses book Razz.

Should I presume Jon isn't coming either?

Have you paid your deposit psychohippy?

The lighting in there makes photography a touch tough to say the least.

I remember from last year.

although I have a f/2.8 lens and a Canon 580 Speedlight so it should help a bit this time.

Ah, those pics are much better than I managed, although it was my first go with the D30.

The question is, is your mrs good with the camera?

H'okay, this is now booked.

Get there for 2:30 for a 3pm start please
Expected to go on until about 6pm.

The karts will be run as a 'gp' format, with seperate qualifying heats.
Because of this, if you are unable to make it for the start, it might be possible to fit you in a bit later on.

There are still spaces available, so there's still time to get your deposits to me.

How much time are you gauranteed on the minimotos assuming you get knocked out of the tornament as early as possible? Just £30 is loads more than the last tournament with the Ducati club I did cost.

Erm, not sure if they'll be doing the minimotos in that fashion.

Karting was due to space on track I believe; while I've seen 30+ minimotos on track easily there before.
Presumably depends more on how many hire bikes.

Last time we were there we got two sessions that were a bit over 15 minutes each; for each event.

I'll give 'em a call to check.

Well, there is now one place going for grabs if anyone wants to take it.
I'll still try and get up there just to say 'Hi' to everyone, but there is obviously no way I'll be able to take part Sad

Some things are unavoidable Sad
Still, like I said, I'm going to try and get MrsHippy to bring me over there for an hour or so just to say 'Hi' to everyone.

EEK panic is now setting in.......

Should we bring our own gear? Don't fancy putting my head in some manky hire helmet, I'd rather use one of my own old ones...... do I need a lid for karting? does the OH need one for minimoto? What about armour? And weapons?

Bring your own lids (for both Karting & MM) - the ones at the place are MING!

You shouldn't need any armour Laughing Unless Ste's about Shocked
