If Facebook's any indication then the A.I.s already see humanity as imperfect and in need of reprogramming 
But this all smacks of late 19th Century socialism and the concept of the New Man* - the ideas were great but humanity was just not up to the task of implementing them 
Anyhoo, "normal" ppl will never go out of fashion. Our brains can't get bigger otherwise women's hips would be too wide to run from the wild animals in the forest! Life might be pretty miserable without all our modern comforts but at least it's possible. Rely too much on technology and the first wobble (meteorite, super volcano, ice age, etc.) and the New Men will all be wiped out. Jeez, how bad is a teenager if you tear their iPhone off them.
I read that a man in the US has a pig heart. Progress? I think not! The vegans will put a stop to such nonsense
