PROTIP: Do not go to Stonehaven.
I used to live upstairs from a famous Edinburgh chippie called Pasquales (now part of the Mamaris kebab shop since the retirement/demise of Pasquale). He would think nothing of chucking you out if you were being rowdy but would also sub you a chippy if you left your student union card.
He would variously deep fry Mars bars, snickers, creme eggs, giant purple quality street, jaffa cakes and choc ices. Also pizzas, battered pizzas, scotch pies and burgers with cheese in the middle. That was all on the menu but i suspect if you particularly wanted a deep fried anything else, he'd have done it for you if you took one in.
He would not do deep fried mars bars after 1am though "Hey you. You be-a quiet inna Pasquales, iza 3 inna morning an you wanna snickers fritter? You have watsa ready. An finish that drink outside. Showa some respect!".

In todays episode of adulting, I removed the baffle on the Spacker to reduce backfiring and increase overall noise.
Just been and turned half a tank of fuel into speed, noise and fire. Mission accomplished.

Quite.. my pleasant but run-of the mill 18 year old niece is convinced she's being terribly daring and avant garde by getting a tattoo or two.. In reality she's running with the herd and enjoying making her Dad, my brother squirm.. I'm pretty sure this is the last wave of teens who will be lured in by this con..

I had a most productive day yesterday. Sensible wifey procured us seats at the front of cattle class on a transatlantic flight so that we could enjoy a bit more leg room.
Normally I'm stuck at the back so I took the opportunity to load up on curry the night before and spent most of the nine hours farting, happy in the knowledge that every stuck up snob in first class had a most aromatic flight.

The SC suggested I should take care of my gardening tools, including the set of secateurs he gave me. So I did 
I had an empty plastic crate in the alleyway so I put all the tools in there, along with my gloves and some old tights that I will probably use to tie up plants. Bound to be other stuff I will stick in there. How sensible!
I'm bloody tidying up after myself, its not right
