Can I quote this to all my mates in bike clubs? That you think they are not fun and are dis-organised.

How dis-organised do you have to be to run the Bulldog or Rock and Blues?

I'd like to see a rally done by a club with only two members, would be quite a giggle.

Anyway I do actually want to hire a bike for a day or two when I'm over there but haven't go around to arranging it. So maybe I can be the BCF ambassador to Cali and come and make friends. To be honest though I was thnking of getting a Harley (so maybe you'll kill me anyway) there because a: it's the US, b: they're cheapest, c: I don't want to bring all my gear so would feel happist at riding a Harley at 55mph, d: it's the US e: my stars and stripes bandana will go better with a Harley.

So apart from the over the top "we'll come over and kill you for slagging our club" stuff you guys sound okay, and maybe we'll meet up! Thumbs Up

I'm starting off in San Diego and thinking off going.... ummm... somewhere north for a few days.

You could try riding up to Oregon, its well nice up there.

Pacific Coast Highway is very nice. Even just a run up to Big Sur is luvlee Smile

Okay I guess "we will make sure that you are taken care of.." is fairly innocent however if he had written "we will make sure that you are... taken care of" it would have been a different matter altogether! Wink

Anyway I am there for a week at a work conference near San Diego, then I have a week to myself. I really should book something to do. I am supposed to stay at a friend's house one night, and I really would like to hire a bike for one or two days but I probably can't afford it. Who knows - maybe I will meet up with the Mayhem posse! Cool

i am in the ped crew. we will thrash any nova at the lights. my ped will do 0-60 in 4.6 secs. bring ya gixxers doon and il display peugot power to the max. big out to the harley crew who helped us tune me v twin ped to 18bhp. cheers guys

Yeah i remember the purple helmets seen em at isle of man tt aren't they in the nude or was i hallucinating Sick .

Canny remember to much was pissed most of the time to many beer tents also quids in was a good bar Thumbs Up .
