@ sickpup i text him simply because...

firstly he asked me to texthim rather than call him
and secondly because i couldnt chicken out, i wrote the text, pressed send and there was no turning back. If i'd have called him and he had answered the phone I'd have forgotten everything I was going to say, my mind would have gone blank and he'd have wondered what the hell i was on about.
