Hi guys,

I ain't got a clue about this so feel free to help me out hehe Laughing

I dunno what oil's in the tank, cos I ain't had the bike long.

I know fully synthetic is best, but will I have problems if I use semi-synthetic??? Whats the performance diferences etc, and will using semi-synthetic mean I have to have rebuilds and stuff sooner???

Also, will I need to drain the oil that's already in before I put new oil in or am I ok to mix??? If I need to drain how do I do it???

Thanks a lot

hi
first of all use fully syntheic oil because if thats what the bike manual says that means you need to use that oil!!
and i think it's best to drain the oil out before you put in the new one because te person before may have a competey diff oil in it!
my cousie had that problem but he didn't drain his he just put the new oil in!!
and i don't know how to drain it!!!

Same as biker boy says, stick to fully synth, if you value your engine at all, that is.
Castrol TTS is one of the best, itll cost ya about £10 a litre but its worth it to keep your engine in one piece. Its best if ya dont mix the oil, easiest way is to run the bike (easily) until its low on oil then fill up - just watch the level so it doesnt go too low :o
