Is this needed or nessasary?
Just coming up to 600miles and just wodering if I really need to put it in for a service.
Also would it help when coming to sell the bike? (hopefully febuary or march for a ER-5, GS500 or CB500 Praying )

Yes, do take it to be serviced. I take it the bikes brand new? If it is then its usualy cheap if not free if it goes to the same place you bought the bike from. I think my 600 service was 25 quid.

Yes. The oil needs changing as it'll be full of little metal filings and all the bolts will be checked to make sure they're still done up tight. It's potentially the most important service your bike will ever have.

Also it may invalidate the warranty if you miss the service, I just had one on my YBR and it cost just over £50.
