Well, my last few posts have had my weekly amount of ranting, so I thought i'd cheer myself up a bit, and give you guys something to do....by asking..........wait for it..............
If you could have any bike, money no object what would it be???
This may sound a little boring compared to what most of you will come up with but I want one of those Ducati 998R Carbon Fibre jobby's I saw at the NEC in November ____________________ A big enough hammer fixes anything! |

I'd have a GP500 NSR, Rossi's one he used last year.
Then I'd try and ride it.......
...........and probably die! (a happy man though)
Oh, and I'd need a team of mechanics, my own track, shares in 2-stroke oil,.......etc |

If they decide to build it i'll have this, the Suzuki B-King
https://w1.157.telia.com/~u15703922/mysuzuki/B-KING/B-KING2_450.jpg
Suzuki's new concept bike B-King looks like it could leave every other bike way behind at the traffic lights. And I'm pretty sure it could do that, too. Imagine Suzuki GSX1300 Hayabusa with a super charger - that's exactly what B-King engine is. There's no exact engine data available but we know that Hayabusa gives 175 bhp and a super charger could easily add 50% more power. 240 bhp has mentioned. Holy cow!!! That's about twice as much as what the GSX1400 engine delivers.
GSX1400 has the same tire dimensions as Hayabusa. 120 at front, 195 at rear. B-King has 150 at front and 240 at rear! They must have created a new tire model just for B-King...
Materials like carbon fiber, stainless steel, aluminum and leather were used building this awesome superbike. An advanced computer system is integrated to the bike. There are self-diagnosis systems, advanced telemetry, which can use a mobile phone for remote maintenance, setup options, and even a GPS-based weather warning system, in case you are heading for a rained out area, and much more. The engineers at Suzuki are supposed to design a helmet with a GPS navigation system using the visor as a display.
The bike is started using a fingerprint recognition system. There's also a advanced thief alarm system. If an unauthorized person tries to start or move the bike the owner gets notified of it immediately by his/her mobile phone. There's a microphone and a speaker built in the bike so the owner can speak with the thief by the phone. If a speaking motorcycle doesn't scare off the thief, you can activate light and sound alarm and the GPS system helps locating the bike if it actually gets stolen.
And so on. In my opinion the B-King looks really great and it's filled with fantastic gismos and fun stuff like led flashers acting like a color display if you want. But don't rush to the dealer yet - B-King is not for sale. Not yet anyway... ____________________ 02 Firestorm. |

Well it sounds good, but that security system sounds a bit dodgy.
A bloke I used to live next door to had a Porsche Boxter and his Mrs had a Mitsubishi Shogun (the furthest it went offroad was the drive may I add....) and one night he got a phone call at 3am telling him to look out his window and the thieves were beeping the horns and flashing the lights to take the piss....then they sped off. I think a bike saying 'please don't nick my bike, i am begging you' won't have a deal of affect. What it really needs is one of those BMW security systems they use in Japan that torches any would be thieves ____________________ A big enough hammer fixes anything! |

scooby are you going to nick a vehicle that has the owners voice coming out of it i would be scared shitless
i would simply use the gps to relay the thieves location to the thieves and let them know the info was also passed onto the police

Personally i cant see all them extravigant things making it on the road bike thats due in a couple of years is it?
Its a bike i'd like to see on the road but wouldn't have one myself...All that hp is well and good but when your sat in that position with no screen for wind protection, no thank you
Think it will do well though when it is released..That is if suzuki dont use the high interest to their advantage like Yamaha did with the Fazer thou'
But what about them turbo chargers? thought they werea bit naff on bikes because of the bang of power they give..wouldn't like to be going round a corner and have a turbo kick in...? |

Turbo lag would be a problem, but I hope you're not expecting something that heavy with tyres that large to handle
It sure looks every bit the musclebike part though, judge dredd anyone? |

Nah, MCN called it "ROBOCOP's bike"!
Does look a little too futuristic for my liking, and a 240-section rear tyre!!!!
You'd need a loan just to get new tyres. |
