The guy who previously owned my xr250r lost the key. The key is for the steering lock - kick start only. Is there companys out there that can take the barrel out and replace it with a new one or could I get one made by just by referring to the chassis numbers? Ta.

You could go for an eBay barrel.

Places can make keys to barrels, but I wouldn't expect that'd be cheap, and I /think/ you can order keys from the frame number, but you can find that out with a 2 minute phone call to your local Honda dealer.

if there are numbers on the lock barrel try a local locksmith. I got keys cut recently from lock numbers and it cost me under a tenner.
