Although Husqvarna is one of the smallest motorcycle manufacturers that we can think of off-hand, they have the advantage of being owned by MV Agusta, which gives them access to the resources of their parent company - including the talents of famed designer Massimo Tamburini (who sketched two of the most iconic designs of the modern era, the Ducati 916 and MV Agusta F4).

Husqvarna combined Tamburini's design talents with their own skill in producing supermoto machines (their competition models are reputed to be top-notch) to create the STR 650 CRC. Aimed at producing a bike with the heart and feel of a supermoto, but somewhat more streetable than a pure 450/510 competition machine, the STR 650 shows an interesting mix of styling influence - elements of both sportbike and supermoto racer are visible.

No specs are available at this time (not in English, anyway), although we can tell the bike is powered by a single-cylinder engine, likely displacing somewhere around 650cc.

Genius I tell ya, pure genius! Laughing

As G said it does look a bit heavy - my worry would be that it does two things 'ok' but neither well.

Oh what a revelation, ugly headlight like most new bikes, underseat exhaust, havn't seen that before Rolling Eyes and how hot are your knees going to get riding it with the radiators there?

They have made a big error letting anyone from MV Agusta anywhere near styling that..........Thing.

Should stick to what they know....

I can see a bit of Aprilia SVX, and a bit of MV Brutale in the styling of that bike. I hope they do produce something that looks close to this, and that it is lighter than 150kg, has decent power 50bhp+, and is not hugely expensive either?

Surely someone in the motorcycle industry can see how fugly those type of headlights are. How many more bikes will they ruin by fitting them. Thumbs Down

The rest of the bike has some nice details but at first glance something screams cheap chinese jobbie to me.

I think you're right about the headlight.

But I do think its a nice bike overall. The only thing that is bugging me slightly is:

What would that bike look like if it wasnt blessed with that electric blue paintjob?
