Hello,

I've finally got around to changing my provisional into a full, however. Im recieving conflicting info's.

I've read that the cost for this kind of exchange is £19.50 from visor down (through a google whack) and that it is free on Direct.Gov. I cant seem to find any info actually on the DVLA's shite site, even when searching for "INF23" as directed by the back of my pass certificate.

Anyone know where to find the actual truth without ringing the DVLA (if I ever have to hear hold music again in my life it will be too soon)!

Thanks for any help,

Nathan.

after more searching than was neccassary (the DVLA run on a Linux server, a symlink could have EASILY resoved this problem of mine) I found that INF23 had been replaced by INS115.

It is free. I am 100% on that. Go to your post office and enquire about a license change. They should give you a price sheet(about leaflet size - green). Hope this helps.

Same here, although i had the option of surrendering it, or sorting it out myself. I thought it was easier to just give it to the examinor and let them sort it, so i did.

Wanted to do mine myself because I wasnt living at home at the time, and was unlikely to recieve it back if I had taken the option of sending it off.
