Right, today wasn't a disaster like last time - Zim and I actually managed to find Kris at Box Hill and went for a ride.

Just to get next week organized nice and early, here are the details:

Meet at 2pm in Ryka's car park, in the small "Motorcycles Only" area under the trees. We'll have a chat and have a look at what's going on before going for a ride out. Make sure you park in that bit, and check on your bike every few minutes to see if anybody has spotted it.

The route choices:

  • Out to Guildford area and back to Box Hill, around 70 miles through some very nice country lanes, with the last 10 miles being a brand new road surface through some very tight corners and up/down elevation changes.

  • Out towards the coast then double back towards Box Hill again, about 120 miles with a very nice mix of roads, some fairly fast small country lanes getting narrower and tighter as you go.

If you're up for coming, post a message here along with your mobile number if you have one. If you don't want to leave your number on a public forum (who knows what sort of weirdos hang out here Wink) then send it to me in a seperate private message/email.

Hopefully we can get a nice ride out together, and the weather should hold <crosses fingers>.

If I don't go to BSB at Brands Hatch I'll probably come along.
As I posted earilier I did turn up (and saw your bike), but obviously didn't find anyone. I assume I saw your bike after you went for a ride.

I was there from 2pm till 3pm then back at 6pm for half an hour, the first time I parked next to a red R1 and the second next to Zim's green ZXR.

I hate to muck up your greatly organised plans, but....

Although the weather man said it would be nice and sunny for this week, he said friday and saturday are going to be wet and soggy.
It didnt go as far as Sunday. Although based on that it doesnt look good. Mad

Me thinks this will have a big affect on attendence rates!! Confused

Good question G,... i am not too sure myself!!
I am going back to Reading this weekend. But 'may' be needed to go to the gatwick airport on Sunday. So i dont really know yet where i will be, or if i can make it?!?!
I think i'll have to wait and see! Confused

Although the weather man said it was going to be "fine" on Sunday! Very Happy I wish he would make his mind up!

Kris, I have managed to thrash 139kph out of the little thing last weekend coming back on the motorway. So give-or-take abit, its about 85mph.

basically, i rekon the easiest way we will all find eachother is to share mobile numbers, for privacy you should email them not post them on here Smile

if we all get down there for 1:30 - 2ish then ring eachother we should be able to meet up easily and go out for a nice ride Very Happy

my email address is richardz@btopenworld.com

hopefully see you all there!
