L plate warriors you post as well,
My story, although I have been Riding bikes for yeons, I never could find a decent Bike forum, not through want of trying, one day in Google (sounds like a start of a story) searched the word forum to see what it would return (as you do), bottom of the page BCF appeared, thought I would take a look as I have had no look in the past with them and never signed up to one before, anyway lurked for a month or so, see what the forummers were about,
Seemed like a good mix of people and more to the point a great mix of threads,
I look around and some people have been on here since the boa-war, well 2002 then, so can’t be too bad a place
So new and old what’s you’re story ____________________ latest bike 03 R1 in zee red and black |

Researching Derbi GPR50s when I wanted one and came across a hilarious post about ped bois in a B&Q car park. It put me off bothering with expensive 50s but I stuck with the forum and the love of bikes. |

Many moons ago I wanted a 125 but had no idea what I was looking for, whilst reading up I came across this site which contained a link to BCF. I lurked for a couple of days then finally posted, everyone was alright and I eventually met up with a few people at some meets, then one of Hexs infamous BBQ's and it went from there. Now I live with 2 complete twats off here and have some close friends from here too.
This forum was a good place to meet other people who had an interest in bikes rather than go the usual 125 route of sitting outside McDonalds until some ped boys talk to you.
It was a small close knit community back in the day, you would religously read every single thread and reply to most, you knew everyone on a lot more personal level because there was a lot less usernames and details to remember, so when meeting up you knew a lot about everyone already. Then Korn spammed his ebay customers, sucked someone off who works for google and changed his porn pop ups to BCF ones, now look at the place! |

I was looking for info on derestricting my wifes NSR125 many moons ago and found www.nsr125.com, think I clicked on Forums and here I am.
I used to post on the MCN forums a long time ago and found this place to be a refreshing change. MCN was full of hardcore Trolls not willing to give anyone a chance and a clique tighter than a Gnats starfish. |

I used to post frequently on a hardhouse music forum, and one day we got talking motorbikes and Zimma gave me a link to this forum....so you can blame him for my being here!!! ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

I came across BCF while trying the numb the pain of pharmaceutical data analysis. I was originally trying to find out what the numbers on tyres met and up popped BCF.
I didn't sign up at first as I believed forums to be sad places where people with poor social skills hanged out (two years later I now know how right I was! ). When I did post I made the error of not introducing myself first (what was I saying about social skills ). My post was promptly ignored.
To this day I've still not managed to get myself to one of the 'social' gathering; but after meeting some BCFers at the London to Brighton cycle I'm seriously considering it! Maybe in a couple more years... |

I wanted some fairings and help with my newly purchased NSR125 back in 2001...
Dad, the master of search engines back in those dark days before I had broad band, discovered nsr125.com for me.
Started posting on the old school message board, met Kickstart (who helpfully offloaded a rather large workshop manual for the NSR to me) and then gradually a few more. Had an arguement with Luke (the real one, known as retrofly back then) as to my gender and age and still stayed. Never looked back.
Like Shaun, I'm now living with one of the dastardly residents of the new BCF. ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

Somebody from here pissed Clanger right off about safety gear, so she came onto another forum where I already knew her and had a good old moan about it.
Several people from that forum came over for a look and went on a bit of a wind-up mission, which made for an interesting karma day! I came over later on to see what all the fuss was about, nearly got banned by association before I actually had chance to post anything then decided that what the forum was missing was a "mother-figure" and as I quite liked it here I stayed.
The "Old Skool" at the time weren't too happy about it at first cos I am old and ride the wrong sort of bike but I bribed them with cake and we get on quite well now! ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

I was searching for 125cc bike information all over the world before I bought Thaihonda LS125R. I found nsr 125 com(BCF), 125ccsportsbikes com, CBR125 de etc. CBR125 de was most useful for CBR125 user but there wasn't LS owner. I found BCF one day and thought, Very nice structure for reading (some forums have many popups, flashing objects etc), and there were very informative posts in every corners. At that time I didn't have my own PC so I used net cafes. After I bought LS, I bought my own PC too, and made some posts about my bike in some oversea forums.
CBR125 de was too tough to keep on writing in german, and said why are you here? this is CBR forum(Yes Indeed!). 125ccsportsbike com was good to post about my bike, there were some LS owner too, but majority was nsr or CBR like other forums. I kept on reading oversea forums and though BCF is best one. Most posts were written as gentle mood and witfulness. I still keep on net surfing all over the world, but haven't met forum in BCF level yet. ____________________ own:2020 Serow 250

I came over with Yam and various other of Clanger's raiding party from Bikersweb
Annoyed everyone, got banned, begged Korn for forgiveness, promised I would be a nice, law abiding, decent member of BCF in future, and got let back in.
