hi all
i got my nsr125r from taz motorcycle and its a import but the guy said it comes of the same line as the uk spec bikes is this true all i no is that it is not the rr and it comes from italia industriale s.p.a well so the owners manual says so will it have the same power as uk spec bikes

From what everyone else says, many import models are difficult to derestrict.

It may well come from the same line as the UK market bikes, but there are probably also other bikes which are not even NSRs coming down that same line. Honda can and will change lots of minor items depending on the intended market for any particular bike. About a year ago I spent a bit of time looking through an Aprilia parts CD, and the different exhaust, carbs, barrels and other bits fitted to RS125s for different markets was a surprise (from memory, anything from a 24mm to a 34mm carb!). I have no doubt that Honda will also do similar tricks

It also depends on the age of the bike. Most markets did not have any power restrictions on 125 learner bikes until recently, so older imports would have been full power when new
