I have spent 2 years rebuilding this ex factory commando Mk2a

it has a Difazio front end as asked for by the factory!

I am riding it and will be out and about at some runs in the new year

Hope it sets a few memories stiring and shows the rice burners that british is best.

New to this and couldnt add the picture to the post! any help please

That's stunning mate, congrats on the rebuild...that swingarm on the front is an interesting concept Thinking

Go to photobucket.com and sign up there then all you do is copy the image tags (don't worry), in to your post.

Thanks guys, i shall give it a go.

The motor was rebuilt by Norman White and still needs a lot of miles on it to loosen up Sad

The damping also needs a bit of fettling but otherwise its a real blast to ride.

More pics later hope

Nice bike, norton. I am also pleased to hear that you are riding it, unlike others who have one to: look at/brag about/go up in value.

ill admit my dads is wasted, he doesnt ride it much as hes got a dodgy leg, and finds it hard to kick over, he uses the bandit mostly.

Think ill be trying to get insurance next summer and have a decent ride of it.

It looks good, and you will enjoy the ride i hope. Different pace of riding on them.

Just got an XBR500 for my wife, looking to restrict it, but quite fun as well.
