to be honest, a 50cc.. you cant ride it without trashing it..
as long as the tyres etc seem in good condition, I'd pay 500 for it.
The cracked pannel would indicate that its been dropped, so you'll probably see some more cosmetic damage.
It has done 8000 miles, so if its a 2 stroke, I'd expect it to go bang pretty soon and require a top end rebuild, you might be ok though. ____________________ Past: 55 Sym Jet, 91 ZZR250, 03 NSR125R. Present: 97 ER-5.

£500 is a good deal.
I bought a 1997 Piaggio Typhoon 50cc back in 2004, it had 11,000 miles on the clock, never had a rebuild that I know of, still in original restricted state. Did another further 2,500 miles on it with barely any problems. Tyres needed replacing, the throttle cable snapped and there was a whole developing in the exhaust. I spent £490 and sold it on for £300.
Did the job. Had loads of scratches but I didn't really care, it got me a years NCB. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
