It had better be even less than that if they want to sell them in large numbers. Looks like it has fairly budget suspension, preload only on the rear and I can't see any form of adjustment at the front end. Has those cheap all in one moulded pillion and rider footpeg mounts. Which means you can't remove the rear pegs and lets face it, those sort of bikes are all about solo riding.
Yet at the same time it has an expensive swingarm, USD forks (doesn't make them perform any better though, but they are still more expensive), decent brakes, a 180 section rear (?) and that underseat exhaust system.
Can't help but feel they've tried to produce something very high quality, then realised there is only a market for something a lot cheaper. So to lower the price, rather than remove some of the more expensive 'niceties', instead they've removed the stuff that would actually make the difference in the mag reviews.. suspension and therefore handling  |

Looks like an MT-03 with over the top exhausts. Would still like to see what it's like, but really it's just an Italian Buell. |

yeah and you could always get rid of the pillion pegs by fitting some rear sets, like some people do with the hornet 
looks cool, although personally I'd take a z750 over it- more power and more practicality for less money

I'm a big Kawasaki fan. I've got one myself. But sometimes it is time to admit defeat:
This Aprilia, along with the MV Brutale, is one of the best looking bikes I have ever seen!
And as for calling it an Italian Buell, I'm gonna have to disagree. A Buell is nothing but a jumped-up Harley (and a very nice sounding and looking one too)
But Aprilia make explosive, brutal bikes.
All I can say is, after the RSV, I smilled.
After the Tuono R, I wept for joy.
And now with this one, I'm just gonna have to go and see the bank manager coz this is one good-looking Aprilia too many.
Sorry Kawasaki, I'm leaving you!

I think you will find this bike is a response to the new z750, Hornet etc. Take a closer look at the build quality, specs etc. I just wouldn't compare it to the RSV and Tuono..... That's like comparing a z750 (2007) to a zx10r. |
