The Divvy is doing this.

I can't feel any difference in the bike's handling or speed, it's just making a really annoying CLUNK every few seconds.

It's faster the faster the bike is going.. which leads me to believe that it's something to do with the chain...?

I've had a look and I can't see anything out of the ordinary. It'll CLUNK for about 10 minutes at a time, then it will be fine. Then it'll start doing it again a bit later in the day, then it'll be quiet. It's been doing it on and off for a few days now.

Any ideas?

Have you checked to see if anything is stuck in the tyres? Check the sprockets to make sure they aren't too worn or loose and the chain is skipping off.

Hi

Does sound likely to be chain related. However also check the sprocket carrier, make sure the bearing in that is fine and not allowing the chain to move around too much.

All the best

Could be the chain. Check for stuck links and slack.

Mine did exactly the same, then stopped once the tyres were changed (and the chain tensioned in the process).

Got it on my bike too. Keep meaning to overhaul the chain and sprockets but never seem to have time.

Do you feel it when you have heavy loads or slower speeds. As I do not feel/hear it when accelerating or at higher speeds.

Slack chain + Slow speed = noise as it catches against the bike or jerks.
