I'm going to get a race fairing for my SV before it goes on track again, but I was thinking about replacing the (smashed) stock fairing with one as well.

I was recommended the "2 Wheel Junkie" fairing from JHS racing, but they don't import them anymore, and importing one direct would cost over £200 in shipping!

Modifying a race fairing to take lights etc is a possibilty.

Can anyone recommend a decent fairing? Pref one that would easily take lights etc

Cheers

(Good enough title G?)

Title is acceptable Wink.

Not sure if it's in the right section though Tut Tut Razz.

Erm, any reason for wanting a race fairing?

Personally, I'd have thought a repaired road fairing would be a lot less hassle and cheaper.

Race fairings often crash 'worse' than road fairings and are more expensive than second hand road fairings.

For a new full set of race fairings I'd be expecting to be a chunk over £200. Most race fairings for the SV require some bodging to get on; however, this does mean that there's been lots of different fairings from other bikes bodged on there Smile.

Not totally sure a race fairing is the way I'm going to go, but...
• I kinda fancied a slightly different look.
• I'm struggling to find colour matched 2nd hand fairings.
• It's looking like even 2nd hand bits will be around £200.

Cheers for the links Smile Thumbs Up

https://www.ardracing.com/ - don't seem to do an SV fairing, I think the GSXR one looks too fat
https://www.powerbronze.co.uk/ - my god those are ugly
