Laptops - 0% Finance Deals?

Hi,

Looking for a laptop to browse the net on, play music, nothing too heavy.

Looking to spend about £600, any suggestions on particular laptops to look at?

Also, anywhere doing 0% finance?

Nothing special, but I got a laptop off eBay.

Compaq Evo N400c. Only a pentium 3, 512Mb RAM and a 20Gb HDD, but for £200 I can't really complain. Ideal for what you want.

Wont play any modern games, but at that price, you'd be hard pressed to get a laptop that would!

You don't need to spend £600 on a Laptop to do that!

My Powerbook G3 manages to do that and more and it only has a 333MHz CPU!

Have a look on eBuyer, they have an eSys laptop with a Supercool VIA C3 1.2GHz Nehemiah CPU, for like £280, which'd be fantastic for your needs.

I think Novatech do finance on purchases over £400.

But be careful, if you dont pay the finance off, you get stung by 29.9% APR.

I doubt there's many places offering 0% on lower end laptops at the moment.

You could always apply for a credit card that has 0% interest for 12 months? Halifax etc normally do them. But looking around, they are dropping the term to 6 months or less.
