Thought i'd share this with any one who hasn't heard of it, i assume you "oldies" would have. Wink

I needed to paint some stainless steel bolts on a rack recently and all i had was black spray. it looked great, for one day then after my pillion got off i noticed that most of it had rubbed off. Rolling Eyes

My dad referred me to Japlac which his dad used to use on his bikes' calipers and bodywork.

i searched on the net and didn't find much, delivery cost was too high for 3 quid of paint.

so i try B&Q of all places,
They had it in their special paints area. £2.30 for 125ml

Takes overnight to dry properly but when dry it ain't coming off quickly and it leaves a quality gloss finish like plastic coating.

Hope i have enlightened some folks Thumbs Up

You sure?

Hammerite = Imperial Chemical Industries PLC
japlac = International Coatings Ltd

probably best to check first.
