I always used Prevx1 and found it a cut above all others, I have trialled it from early beta thanks to a friend being one of the directors of the company and I have to say its simple to use, stable and damn effective.

cheers

For AV that is free, use ClamWin. Portable apps mean you install all apps (AV, Open office suite, GIMP etc) to a USB stick and you can use on any PC.

https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/clamwin_portable

Enjoy.

Easier to fix viruses than a full install as you will need to put all your programs on again and get all the settings back as you liked them.

There are no viruses in the wild at the moment that can't be removed using free software.....Unless its left so long it removes half the operating system. Wink
