Another silly one.

Why did you choose your user name? Is it a nickname or is there a story behind it? Or what?

Mine is very dull. My name is Philip and if you say it quickly it sounds like flip.... Dull isn't?! Rolling Eyes

Anyway do tell...

Mine is the russian version of my name Very Happy Everyone calls me nealski or beans. Reason they call me beans is that I say "cool beans" instead of ok or good, and no one I work with knows about cool beans!

Not sure where nealski came from, i think it was people think my ENGLISH surname sounds russian?!? "Myerscough"

Oh well.

Neal

When I first got on the net, at about 15 Laughing I used to go in AOL Motorbike chat room, my username was "yamswheelyr1" I stuck with that up until people kept asking if I had an R1, so I changed it to YamsR6!!

About 3 years ago I wanted a hotmail address that had one word. So I went through the dictionary looking for that word! Eventually got to H and found headlamp! It's funny when I get emails that start 'Dear Head' or 'Dear Mr. Lamp' Laughing

i went to scotland with my grandparents on holiday, shortly before deciding my old hotmail (dont laugh i got it when i was like 12, icelordofstevenage@ hotmail.com) was a bit gay so thought ill change it. Stuck with it as my username ever since.

Also its quite an ironic name as im like 6.4 and very well built Wink (perfect bike riding build Sad)

mine is also rather boring I'm afraid. 'izzi' being short for my full name, Isobel. The 81 takes a bit more explaining - I'm photographer for a university American football team, and 81 is the shirt number I seem to have adopted.

I got mine years ago, in a dilemma to decide what to call myself, my best friend's nick name was "the master" at the time. So I chose "The Slave", was a member in an irc room for a while where another mate was called sneebo... (you can see where its going).

So in an effort to take the mick out of his nickname I called myself slavo, and since then its stuck.

(sad, I know, but you asked Razz)

The Sirname's Miles, and somehow Milo came from that when people used to call me across the warehouse at Argos.

Red Alert name.

Jimbo is another name for James which is my real name, don't know where the J came from at the end but it has stayed there ever since. I think it was because Jimbo was taken up.

Not quite as cunning as a sack ful of weasels, however...

ZZRse is simple really, ZZ-arse. Or ZZR special edition, read it as you will. Used primarily because having the name Wolf in RL tends to make people think yer a cretin when you appear out of nowhere with a typically pretentious nickname. I don't think my parents planned on me hitting the bike scene, but hey.

Hi

I have been signing myself Kickstart for years, since about 1991 with a very unofficial bulletin board at work. After the dog in the Ogri cartoons.

All the best

Me and a mate were well hammered and he meant to say fantastic but for some reason said Mattastic (my name's Matt so that may have something to do with it) and it's stuck every since.
