Just been reading about this on https://www.rsvr.net/pages/V4RACEBIKE.asp

"THE APRILIA V4 RACE MACHINE ENGINE

An ambitious and technically advanced Project, Aprilia’s first ever Four cylinder engine, is ready to become the new reference point for Superbike engines; generating 220 BHP from a narrow V-Four package this will be the platform upon which aprilia enters the 2008 WSB Challenge."

Hmm, roll on 2008!

The exhaust/s is/are going to have to be an *interesting * shape. I suppose they could run it straight over the back wheel. Be interesting to see.
