Right im looking at these three bikes, thinking "wow!" but its just a matter of opinion and i know theres a couple of you out there who would say none. But i personally am a Vmax fan and i dont really like the B-King as much as i prehaps should. However the Benelli looks hot!
(i know the max is only a concept but fingers crossed for 2008).
Any thoughts ____________________ ~Sahf East Winnah~

The B-king and TNT, are both really in a different class to the V-max. The Yamaha is still from the looks of it very much a high performance cruiser, and more of a rival to the Harley V-rod etc. Would you really want or need a bike that is not likely to handle all that well, but has 150ish bhp?
I would probably never buy a modern Suzuki, but id love either a TNT or a Speed Triple for sure, and one of them is fairly likely to be my next big bike i would say. The only thing i could imagine being better than either would be a ZX12R Kawasaki engine, stuffed into a Z1000 style streetfighter, but with high spec suspension and brakes. Then i'd be able to buy the kind of bike i really want, but it would say Kawasaki on the side, which obviously makes it the best bike! |

Just get the crash-damaged ZX10 steveo .
Ok, not quite as much midrange, but down gear it a bit and I reckon you'll have plenty of instant go. Higher peak power than it's bigger brother for the latest ones I believe.
(Ok, I know it won't look as nice, but I'd want to be looking at the road when riding any of 'em and they'd be wasted if I was going slow enough for people to see me when I went past ) |

I love the max, but i think youre right. Great in a straight line but youve really got to give it some to get round a corner. Although my dad does it pretty well when im on the back.
The TNT looks more like an MV in the looks compared to the other two. It would really stand out, and still has huge HP and torque... which are always fun
(on the max theyre thinking about 200BHP by the way...although it could be the same sort of speculation as the B-King had with its supercharger...shame they didnt get that on!!) ____________________ ~Sahf East Winnah~

B-king anyday! its the most normal looking bike like that. Its beautiful. The first one is just too "Carol Nash Custom Bikes" and the second one has the back of a sports bike, and the front of a muscle bike. Although the second one would be my second choice (as long as I could peel off the "cafe" thing) ____________________ I ride: 2003 Aprilia RS50

Hey G, well i know what you say makes the most sense, and im trying to imagine how much of an animal a down geared ZX10R streetfighter would be?
TBH having not ridden anything (well not bike wise anyway!) for a year, it kind of scares me. Iv'e been well happy with my ZX6R J1, and it's performance is more than enough really! Id just like to move up to a bigger lazier engined naked bike next, that delivers more torque much earlier down the rev range thats all. (jeez, at this rate i'll be buying a turbo deisel bike next, lol!)
The other thing i think is that im not really that confident on a big bike after not riding one for ages, and so maybe budget allowing, id just buy a bike to look nice when parked up, like that gorgeous TNT, as i ain't going to be able to ride any quicker if i was riding the ZX10R than i would on a Bandit 600 really! |

I was stunned when Suzuki announced they were going to finally bring out the BKing, even made a post about it on the forum!. It was unveiled as a concept at a show a few years back - Turbo busa engine, loads of toque, loads of hp, loads of electronic gizmos (including finger print recognition ignition ) and more than likely (but justifiably) would cost loads of cash to.
BUT... I've since been disappointed to find it doesn't have the turbo, doesn't make the ridiculous 200 odd bhp, doesn't have the fancy gizmo's... and worse the styling had changed and it had lost it's cut-throat 'Sir-Killalot' look. Yet it still had the high price tag.
You see, whilst it looked stunning a few years ago, it now looks dated and the emission laws have played havoc with the back end. It's become just another large capacity, but tamed down mid-ranged naked roadster. A far cry from what we were promised.
So for me... I agree with G. If I wanted a naked roadster I would want full power, not something tamed down in the mid range. So a 1ltr sports stripped of it's fairings it would have to be
(don't worry G - I'll disagree with you in my normal style later on in another post to make up ) |

I'd go for the TnT everytime - I've ridden one and it's more fun than a barrel of monkeys. ____________________ I spend all my money on bikes and beer, the rest I simply waste! |

Suzuki B-King looks like 1300cc version of GSR600. Naked hayabusa. would be much faster than Z1000. I prefer street fighter style to dragger style(Vmax) and cafe style(tnt).
But I'm looking forward to seeing new yamaha V4 engine of new VMAX, hopefully make many other genre bikes with new V4 engine(not only VMAX please!). V4 is too rare at present(honda VFR or Pan only). Why don't they make many V4 bikes. V4 is tasty and powerful. ____________________ own:2020 Serow 250
